This map features a graphic representation of Buenos Aires and its proximity to the River Plata. It includes my recommendations on things to see and do in key neighborhoods.

Empanadas, dulce de leche, beautiful people, pretty buildings, style galore, endless diversions, cheap eats and drinks- I like this place.

“Repulgue” is the name of the distinct folded pattern given to each empanada. You can tell the flavor of the empanada by deciphering its repulgue. My favorite was crushed corn and red pepper.
1) Spicy Beef
2) Salted Cod with Raisins
3) Roquefort and Onion
4) Crushed Corn and Red Pepper
5) Ham and Ricotta with Brown Sugar

“Salsa Golf” is to Argentina what Ketchup is to America. Make your own batch and put it on everything from french fries to celery.

There is a mind-blowing cemetary in the middle of Buenos Aires where every esteemed member of Argentinian society has the privilege of being buried. I took some pictures. I made some notes. I’m making a little book about the place.
